Allahpundit is full of hotair.com

Allahpundit kicked me off of hotair.com, without warning, because he said my post was inappropriate. I showed several posts similar to mine and some a lot worse he had written. It appears he his a hypocrite and a flaming Liberal so I'm not surprised by his actions and his inability to grasp reality.

I had resisted my comments re: his posts in the past but I could resist no longer when his stupidity was directed towards me. Se la vie!

Hotair.com does not believe in freedom of speech. That means they fall under the Liberal bias they say they're against. Why else would you regulate, moderate and limit the number of participants? Where is the freedom?

I've blocked out part of the promo code on the URL. Everything else is as is. If you look above you'll see some of the features appear to be unavailable to me since I'm renewing domains. This appears to be, as most of his promos, discounts for new domains only. However, I get a discount on the .com of $2 but nothing on the .INFO domains, which should be discounted $4/ea.

I called support at: 1-480-505-8821 I was informed that discounts are not for renewals. I informed them that all of the domains are renewals so why is the .com discounted? James said it's because of another promotion. His alleged supervisor, Chad, agrees.

I posted my thoughts on BobParsons.com. They should show up on page 3 if they pass moderation. I'm not holding my breath. Here is a link: http://www.bobparsons.com/MayKiting.html

If it doesn't show up, I'll post a copy of it here.

I'm sure Bob is separated from most of what goes on with particulars of his business so I'll reserve additional comments until after he responds, if he does. He usually doesn't like the bad publicity and I have gotten support from him in the past when I was unable to register a domain. However, I complained about the annoying javascript that introduces a delay when you use his blog form to create a post. The delay is built in for no reason whatsoever. I told him I would write the code that would accomplish the same task and not include the delay and work quite well. He had someone contact me and I gave them the code. That was months ago and he still has the annoying code on his blog. It reminds me of a saying, "There is no cure for stupidity." Why annoy that hell out of people you're trying to impress. It's self-defeating.

The promotion could have been replaced with the current one but this promotion lasts until Sep 30, 2006. This is the 20th.

So, scam or no scam? Let me know what you think.

Real Freedom of Speech

I read a transcript of a Socialist tried in February 1919, under the Sedition Act of May 16, 1918, for writing a pamphlet called The Great Madness in 1917. His name is Scott Nearing.

While I disagree with many of his assertions and conclusions, and I disagree with the philosophy of Socialism, Communism, Liberalism and most if not all isms, his depiction of what free speech really means, is compelling.

The only way to have intelligent public opinion is to have discussion, and the moment you check discussion you destroy democracy. ... The only way in which we can preserve democracy is to reserve to every citizen of the democracy the right to express the convictions that he has: the right to be right and the right to be wrong. The Constitution does not guarantee us only the right to be correct, we have a right to be honest and in error. And the views that I have expressed in this pamphlet I expressed honestly. I believe they are right. The future will show whether or not I was correct, but under the laws, as I understand it, and under the Constitution as I understand it, every citizen in this country has a right to express himself — subject always to the law, subject always to the limitations which the law prescribes — has a right to express himself on public questions. The moment any administration enters and shuts down that right, that moment democracy ceases to exist. ...

I am an American, my ancestors have been Americans for more than 200 years. As an American I have certain rights and certain duties. Among my rights under the First Amendment to the Constitution are the rights of free speech and the free press; the right to speak and print the convictions that I have. It was for those rights that our ancestors left Europe and came here. It is for those rights that some of us are contending today.

I do not care for the prosperity of this country if we are going to have gag laws. I care not for the wealth of this country if we are going to be forbidden to have free speech, and an opportunity for expressing our minds and expressing our opinions and discussing the great issues that are before us. ... In America we want liberty. And I believe that as an American citizen, that is the dearest possession for which I can contend. That is my right constitutionally and legally. But if there were no constitution and no law, it would be my right as a member of a democratic society.

... Citizenship involves duties as well as rights. ... When I believe that our country is in danger, our common life and our common liberties are in peril, then it is my duty to warn you, it is my duty to speak out and continue to speak out as long as I have an opportunity to do so....

Gentlemen, I want to say to you that I want to see America free. I want to see liberty, opportunity and democracy here, as well as in every other country on earth. As long as America is not free, you are not free and I am not free. ...

I have expressed my hopes, my ideals, my ambitions for liberty in America, and for brotherhood and peace among all people of the world. I have done what I could, and for the time being the matter is in your hands.

In the immortal words of Patrick Henry, "Give me Liberty or give me death." I believe that no one is truly free if their right to free speech, free thought and free expression is suppressed or controlled. You have the right to free speech, right or wrong and I have the right to listen/ignore, right or wrong.

I do, however, draw the line when it gives aid and comfort to our enemy or when you try to exercise your right on foreign soil against America. I also do not believe free speech gives you the right to harm children. Children should be protected and allowed to be children for as long as they are children. There is enough time for growing up and there are those that still need a lot more time. The Liberal party and Hollywood come to mind.

If I was offered 3 things:

1. Unending wealth
2. Immortality
3. Liberty

... I would choose liberty. There is nothing more valuable than liberty and one cannot purchase a [inalienable] right [gift of God]. One is not truly alive unless one is free. If one is not free, one would not want to live a single minute without freedom, much less suffer an eternity of suppression and control.

Big Chief

Chief of Police of the city of Houston, Harold Hurtt is under review. Since he has been the chief [2 years] crime has been on the increase. The policeman's union feel he has made some very bad choices. I agree. The worst is his refusal to enforce ALL the laws. He likes to pick and choose which laws he will enforce, like notifying USICE of immigration violations. Chief Harold Hurtt has put his decided to do what he wants rather than what Houstonians pay him to do, protect them from criminals.

Mr. Hurtt, we'll be glad to see you go. You are not helping the illegal invaders. You're making them targets and costing all of us liberty, safety and money. Perhaps Mayor Nagin will hire you. He's looking for some more chocolate to rebuild New Orleans.

Deliberate Critics

Natalie Maines has once again gone abroad and chosen to speak bad about the US. Now she's speaking out against patriotism. Unbelievable.

They [the chicks] say country music has gone "redneck" and now they no longer can listen to the radio. They also said they don't want a lot of fans who "don't get it". They'd rather have a small following of cool fans.

Well, they're slowly but surely getting their wish. They have a new album out and so they're out again, spewing more rhetoric BS. You have to ask yourself, "Are people really this stupid?"

Michelle Malkin has a vent on Hot Air about the bare naked ladies.

I thought it would be fitting to modify a song from one of those "rednecks" the chicks hate so much, in their honor. It's a song by Hank Williams Jr. called "If Heaven Ain't a Lot Like Dixie"... with a twist.
If you aren't familiar with the song, here's a sample: If Heaven Ain't a Lot Like Dixie

The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they ought to go
The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they should just as soon stay home

They were some of the chosen few, born under a Texas star
They are like their daddy's girl, proud of who they are
They went through a lot of good fans, shook ole Saddam's hand
They'll never see the pearly gates, they are traitors to this land

The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they ought to go
The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they should just as soon stay home
They were awarded at the Grand Ole Opry, over in Tennessee
And then went over to a UK city, and sold out you and me

Natalie you're a crazy bitch and you better watch your back
Those British roads ain't streets of gold, and you're a political hack
You pretty little southern belles were a country boy's dream
Until you all became traitors to the honor of Dixie.

The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they ought to go.
The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they should just as soon stay home.
They were awarded at the Grand Ole Opry, over in Tennessee
And then went over to a UK city, and sold out you and me.

The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they ought to go.
The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they should just as soon stay home.

The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, they have to go.
The Chicks ain't a lot like Dixie, I wish they'd just stay home.

I wouldn't care if Natalie Maines, got down on her knees.
I'm ashamed they're from the state of Texas, they ain't shit to me.

Girls, I listen to your songs... as much as I listen to your rhetoric.

Willful Blindness

Allahpundit hit the nail when he added the comment to this blog about Bush at the border and being blind on the issue and thus the title of this entry.

The first commenter [clyde] said, "President Bush’s interview video could only be improved by adding a little Mariachi music in the background." We aim to please, Clyde.

When News Writes Itself

She's sexy and riddled with STDs. She's the new Commupolitan girl.

It seems some are comparing this lil diddy to the uproar the "religion of peace" had with the cartoon illustrations of their pedophile. I've since dubbed it the "Pedophile Toon Wars." I'm sure Mao Zedong wishes he looked this sexy and probably masqueraded around in a few rags not reflective of military garb.

It appears New Zealand can now be added to the "insensitive" group of states needing to be boycotted. I guess the Chinese students who were "almost in tears" can strike back by leaving and going back to China to be educated. That will never happen.

They definitely need to be educated because everyone who complained is obviously ignorant to the fact that the liberty they use to express their ire is the same liberty given to Chaff to fuel it. You can't have one without the other lest you live in a communist run government. I seem to remember the last time students tried to make a statement, in China. Can you say Tineman Square?

One student, Tony Song, said the protesters were being too sensitive. He said it didn't bother him at all and it's been done about the Queen [of England] before. He said it made him laugh.

That's the right approach. If it's funny, laugh. If you don't think it's funny, then don't laugh or say, "that's not funny." The sensitive crowd wants the freedom to express what they find offensive but want others to be tolerant of their offenses. You just can't have it both ways. I know. Let's get a head count of how many of these 50 students protested against it being done to the Queen or to Allah [piss be upon him] or Jesus and Christians on a daily basis? Can you say zero?

Massey University international office director Bruce Graham said the Chaff cover is in "extremely poor taste". However, he accepted Chaff has editorial independence.

"This shows a lack of respect. Chinese students are an important part of the university's community."

Mr Graham has suggested to Chaff an apology is required.

OK, I'll write the apology for Chaff.

Dear Sensitive Chinese Students...

I'm sorry you're too sensitive. I'm sorry you enjoy the freedom to voice your opinions to try to stifle our freedom of speech. I'm sorry you don't understand freedom is for everyone, not just visitors to our country who need to learn to leave their Communist ideas at home where they belong. You're a guest in this country. Try acting like it. You have the right to express your opinions but you do not have the right to control ours.

When we visit your country, then you can remove all of our rights, as Mao has done for the Chinese. And, if you feel offended now, just wait until our next issue!
